But perhaps the most devastating thing of all was the outside area. Would fully recommend it. What had once been a peaceful grass verge overlooking the sea was now filled with decking, surrounded by glass walls and claustrophobically crammed tight with picnic tables.
It has a lovely outside decking area that you can't eat out on. We found great results, but some are outside Hayle.

Coffee delicious, pasties, sausage roll and chips tasty. Next is Gwithian, popular with both locals and holiday makers. We all had pancakes which were delicious and set us up for the...day. On its slightly elevated position in a little cove, overlooking a beautiful beach this place is lovely.

We stumbled on Cove Cafe whilst walking along the coastal path from our Campsite. Check the surf, spot the dolphins, or just keep dry while watching the storms roll in. Coffees were nice and the kids loved the piping hot "skin on" chips. Can't wait to return.

We...decided to return to Hayle this year and our family joked that we were really coming back just to visit the Cove Cafe.
